the challenge
What happens when a giant inflatable obstacle course lands at a shopping destination?
We bounce on it (obvs) and then… we make a content plan.
With The Monster landing at Bluewater and Mega Bounce at Braintree Village, our client, Landsec, had two larger-than-life summer experiences to shout about on social..
Our challenge was to turn these standalone installations into a social story, building excitement, driving ticket sales and keeping audiences engaged throughout their run, rather than relying on a single launch announcement.

the campaign
We created a social-first content plan designed to keep both experiences bouncing across feeds throughout the summer.
From launch and ticket-sales content to extended-date announcements and last-chance-to-bounce reminders, we found new reasons to talk about the events at every stage.
Content tapped into familiar summer holiday struggles, positioning the experiences as the answer to keeping the family entertained, while ticket competitions helped drive engagement and excitement.
We also got audiences involved, capturing crowd-sourced interviews and real reactions from visitors to bring the atmosphere of the events onto social media. Influencer collaborations extended the campaigns even further, introducing these experiences to new audiences.

the results
Rather than allowing the conversation to peak at launch, our always-on approach kept both activations visible throughout their run across the summer, supporting awareness, engagement and ticket sales at key moments.

By combining reactive content, competitions, customer voices, influencer collaborations and sales messaging, we extended the reach of the physical experiences beyond the people who were there.
